Red Rock Climbing Center is an air-conditioned indoor rock climbing gym in Las Vegas with over 8,000 square feet of climbing walls and 1,000 square feet of roof routes and serious overhangs. You can tell that they are really utilizing the space! Their climbing holds are based on tapes giving old-school climbing gym vibes.

They have lead, auto-belay and top rope routes on their 35 feet high walls and a bouldering “cave” area as well. The climbing routes and problems cater to climbers of all grades and they are frequently resetted so you will never be bored. You can find bouldering problems that are V7+ onwards! Personally, I find this gym focusing more on bouldering problems due to the space.

If you are interested in scaling the actual Red Rock in Las Vegas, the climbing gym offers a variety of climbing guides from competent instructors. From a normal top rope climb to multi-pitch, they have everything covered for you to have the best outdoor experience.

They also have a number of fun events to entice a diverse range of community such as Ladies Night and College Night at discounted prices. Aside from climbing, you can participate in their fun activites such as aerial silk and yoga classes to supplement your workout regime. This is a kid-friendly and pet-friendly climbing gym.

BaseCamp isn’t located in Las Vegas, in fact, it is 439 miles away from it. We do think that BaseCamp Reno NV deserves a spot as it once held the Guinness Book Of Records for the “World’s Tallest Artificial Wall” at 163 feet. That’s about 15 stories!

Located at Whitney Peak hotel, they are an outdoor artificial wall climbing park that also features the only IFSC-certified speed climbing wall in the country.

If climbing 15 stories isn’t your thing, this Reno rock climbing “hotel” also has other shorter routes such as a bouldering area, a 35-feet wall with auto-belay devices, and a 70-feet wall for lead climbing and top-roping.

Which Bar In Vegas Has A Rock Climbing Wall?

Twin Peaks Restaurant and Sports Bar located on Las Vegas strip had a 39-foot rock climbing wall that everyone could show off. However, this particular branch ended up closing down during the pandemic in 2020 and is now based in Henderson without a climbing wall.
